  1. Texas at 1? Don’t you know they have Gilbert Grape at their QB. The same one that threw 4 picks and lost one fumble in the National Championship. Not to mention he only completed 15 of 40 passes. I’m sure you will defend him and say, “He was a freshman in the biggest game of his life. He wasn’t supposed to be in but the sissy McCoy got hurt.”

I promise your prediction will be spoiled on October 16th when the members of the drama queen school of UT visit the black shirts in Lincoln!

    Go Big Red.

  2. I can not agree with you more about Garret Gilbert’s performance in last years title game. However, set aside your bias homerism for Big Red Football. The offensive line for Texas is one of the best this season in all of Division 1. Which should allow for the running game and passing attack to expose all the weak defense’s on the schedule. The only game on Texas’ schedule that is remotely difficult is the game versus Nebraska. And without a man among children Suh now in the NFL, your defensive line is average at best. I can assure you that if Texas beats the Huskers in Lincoln that they will play for the BCS Title in January.

  4. To correct you sir I am not a homer for the big N. I just hated seeing them get cheated last year when a sorry QB in the Big 12 game made a bone head mistake and let the clock run out. That second should have never been put back up. I am rooting for Nebraska to dominate Texas as well as any other school that they play.

If they do make it out of Nebraska with a W, I can’t argue that they will have a schedule that isn’t as difficult as it has been in the past; however it is the Big 12 (at least for one more year) and still is the 2nd best conference.

  5. Hey Steve, I think you’re on to something here… Im not feeling the whole Texas vibe at 1 but your number 2 looks mighty strong.

Jake Lockers Love Child… The big W should be a little higher… only becasue of your Pappa.
