In only the second time in History of Baseball Roy Halladay of the Philadelphia Phillies tosses a No Hitter to beat the Cincinnati Reds in Game 1 of the divisional series. Only Don Larsen in the 1956 World Series had thrown a No Hitter in a playoff game.
This is his second career no hitter, both coming this season. On a 0-2 count Tony Bautista hit a slow roller to the catcher, Carlos Ruiz squeezed the ball and threw him out at 1st.
What a great way to start the 2010 playoff season. Congratulations to Roy on this amazing accomplishment.
